Let’s face it, there is nothing more attractive than someone that likes to take care of themselves and keep fit. The panoramic view of the ocean is the perfect backdrop to a casual first date while you get to know each other. Do it at your own pace and stop along the way to take in the magnificent view from the stunning cliff-top walking trail. (Hint: Gazing at the view is a handy way to disguise any awkward silences too). Head to Speedo’s café nearby for a fresh juice, but just remember the trail is the perfect location for a romantic first kiss—preferably before the parsley and ginger green juice! If you’re really lucky, you might spot a whale or a pod of dolphins too. Happy walking!

What could be more romantic than a bunch of flowers? Several bunches of flowers! Try an early morning trip with your potential love to the Sydney Markets on Saturday morning where you can pick up a bunch of roses for as little as $10. Hot tip: Go armed with a small bucket and a water bottle so they don’t wilt on the way home. It’s cash only, so make sure you come prepared. If you’re really keen to impress, buy a few bunches—it’s the perfect way to show you care, without breaking the bank!

Take a leisurely Sunday drive out of Sydney to The Boathouse at Palm Beach. It’s a great opportunity to shoot the breeze in the car along the way, and once you’ve arrived the beautiful setting does the work for you! If you can, nab a table on the deck outside, the view is just marvelous. Try the fish and chips that arrive beautifully presented in a bamboo basket—and if you’re in the mood to splurge, indulge in a glass of champagne too. Top it all off with a wander on the beach while the sun sets. You’re welcome!

Enjoy an afternoon in the sun, a coffee in hand while you listen to the local jazz band as you wander through the school grounds to see what vintage delights you can find. Look out for the stall with the coloured glass, vintage books and for a bit of fun, head to the local fortune teller. If that’s not your cup of tea, you can enjoy Sydney’s best gozleme hot off the grill for as little as $10 each! Trust me, you’ll be coming back for more. We did! 7/10

Who doesn’t love chocolate? With Winter well and truly upon us, a nice warming hot chocolate (I love the coconut flavor, but there are so many to choose from) and a serve of freshly-made Churros dusted in cinnamon sugar are the perfect Sunday afternoon treat. Warning: These come with pots of melted chocolate and I can’t promise that you’ll want to share! If you’re feeling really romantic, opt for the strawberries with melted chocolate and whipped cream…
