One of the things I love to do when I’m in Sydney is go to the Rozelle Markets. (http://www NULL.rozellemarkets NULL.com NULL.au/)I usually drag SilverFox along with me. Ok, who am I kidding, (not you Kido!) he’s a more than willing participant. Yup. All it takes is a mere mention of the fresh Turkish gozleme, hot off the grill and BAM, next thing I know, I’m eating one too!

Over the last few years I think it’s fair to say that I’ve aquired a number of purchases, thanks to the Rozelle Markets (http://www NULL.rozellemarkets NULL.com NULL.au/). Art Deco mirror. Tick. Bright Orange Olivetti (http://www NULL.olivetti NULL.com/Site/Public/)typewriter. Tick. Crystal decanter(s). Tick. Tick. Tick. You get the picture.

Don’t even get me started on the collection of gladstone bags (http://www NULL.google NULL.com NULL.au/images?hl=en&q=gladstone%20bags&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1536&bih=811) I’ve bought at the Camberwell Markets (http://www NULL.onlymelbourne NULL.com NULL.au/melbourne_details NULL.php?id=7750)in Melbourne. Eeeek!

Moving on: behold my latest purchase that I picked up a few weekends ago for the grand ol’ price of 15 smacks. Incredibly expensive for a market purchase, but I just haaad to have it. Naturally, being the Cheeky Monkey that I am, I made SilverFox foot the bill!

Come on, stop being such a Sneaky Sally and share your latest market finds. MC

As I mentioned yesterday, I’m a HUGE fan of hotels. About twice a year if SilverFox and I don’t have time to excape The Big Smoke, we take up residence at a hotel for a weekend, just to take a break and recharge our batteries. Okay, it might involve some great hotel sex too (but you didn’t hear it from me). TMI? Forgive me.

It must be some weird universal law – but why does everything always taste better when it comes from the mini bar? Even though, you’d probably have to sell your first born just to pay the bill!

The best place I’ve stayed (and you’ll be surprised by this) is Crown Towers (http://www NULL.crowntowers NULL.com NULL.au/) in Melbourne. Yup, nothing beats Crown. And trust me, I’ve tried out a hotel or two in my short time.

I spend my time swanning ’round in my bathrobe…

What I love about Crown: it’s unashamedly over the top. A bit like Heidi Montag’s twins, you might say. I generally spend my time swanning ’round in my bathrobe, watching TV in a bath overflowing with bubbles and ordering club sandwiches, pretending life is always like this. Sigh.

The Westin (http://www NULL.westin NULL.com NULL.au/sydney/) is an entirely different experience but just as fab-u-lous and all the more enjoyable when you’re not paying for it! For my tastes, it’s a little old-worldly. It’s restrained luxury; prim and proper. One night at the Westin and it felt like a week. Lovesit.com  MC

// Wish I could move in.

// Maybe I could take up residence?

// First thing I always do, is kick off those pesky heels!

// Hay-lo!

// They even have their own brand of towels.

// HHH: Hotel happiness high.

// Doing what I do best. Eating and spending money.

// Sigh.

// G’night y’all.

// Home time already?!
