I am a creature of habit. No doubt about it. When Fitness First suggested I swap workouts with another blogger,I’m not going to lie, I did kind of freak out a bit. Going to the gym is apart of my routine, when something changes …I can’t cope. For example, someone sitting on my bike in Spin is the perfect excuse for me to back out of the class and go back home and sit on the lounge and eat a bag of Reeces Peanut Buttercups. I can be a sooky lah lah like that, and I know it

So this time, I decided I was going to suck it up. With that in mind, I decided I was going to take the bull by the horns and throw myself into Kelly’s routine with wild abandon. I was going to do this. KICK ASS! #fistpump

[the food] THE RESULTS[/the food]

At first, I was exhausted. I found it gruelling,—especially the classes. I wanted to stick with it, prove to myself, that I could do it.I really tried to get into it. By the end of the week, I was feeling good. Sore, but good. I was proud that I stuck it out rather than just retreating to the treadmill and working out solo. I actually enjoyed all the classes. (Although, if it were my choice I’d stick to one or two!) Like I said, I’m a creature of habit.

The great thing about doing a variety of classes was that it made me feel competitive. I was also more ‘present’ while I was working out. In the moment. On the weekend I actually found myself craving a workout. Not wanting to overdo it, I went for a nice long work on the beach and reflected on the week. Let’s just say I feel like I’ve turned a corner. I’m definitely going to switch things up a bit and have more fun. Enjoy it. Be present. #changeforthebest Now, to see how Kelly fared with my workout clickity click here! MC
