You lay in bed. Eyes open. Staring at the ceiling. Psyching yourself up for the day. And then it starts. Softly at first. Until it gets so loud you can’t ignore it anymore. You jump out of bed. No. You bound out of bed! By now you’re hopping from foot to foot. Hood over your head, air punching the invisible enemy. Risin’ up straight to the top … Had the guts, got the glory. Eye of the Tiger fills the room. You stop for a second, look in the mirror. You’ve got that look in your eyes; nothing—make that no one—can defeat you.

Remember what that feels like? When you’re at the top of your game, and you know it. You wake up, ready for the world. Ready to make shit happen.

I’m not the only one to say juicing changes your life. I’ve borrowed and adapted the recipe below from this lovely lady. You can read her blog about it here. Trust me, once you start juicing, you won’t look back. Now, go get ‘em tiger with this green smoothie. RAWR! MC

You’ll need:

1 mandarin

1 lime

A bunch of mint

A stick of celery

A big handful of spinach

A tiny bit of Kale

1 tbs of chia seeds

1 tbs of coconut oil

A few ice cubes
