LMFF Runway 06 and 07.

- DEDICATED POST -

Darlink! Today was literally jam-packed with action. This morning I attended the Herald Sun Marketing Breakfast at the Sofitel, emceed by none other than Giaan Rooney, who did a fabulous job (and could probably beat Michelle Obama in an arm wrestling competition). Okay, I’m exaggerating, but boy, does she have toned arms! One day I will get back to the gym. One day. Sigh.

The talks were a nice balance of inspiration and education – bonus points for the ‘Breakfast Bento Boxes’ and the Bulgari San Pelligrino – they really were the perfect table accessory. And of course, anything tastes better when the label says ‘Bulgari’.

PHEW, SO MUCH MENTAL SHOPPING, SO LITTLE TIME.

This evening I saw the last of the L’Oreal runway shows featuring Alice McCall, bassike, Kirrily Johnston, LIFEwithBIRD, camilla and marc, Collette Dinnigan, Alex Perry and more. But, before we even get to the clothes, I fell head over heels for the dip-dyed ponytails the models were sporting. Ah-may-zing!

On the fashion front, Alice McCall had some really playful shirts with fabric scallop detailing that I loved. And I’m really looking forward to rocking bassike’s red, white and tan colour palette. First things first, tomorrow I’m rushing out to buy that Morrison sheer white dress with the cutesy peter pan collar. Phew, so much mental shopping, so little time!

All I can say, is, thank god for the festival’s VIP bar, (where one goes to see and be seen) or in my case, rest-your-poor-little-tootsies-because-you-don’t-believe-in-practical-footwear. Either, or. I know which camp, I’m in. One thing’s for sure, you’ll enjoy a fabulous Chambord cocktail while you’re there. WIN. MC
