So, for the last 6 weeks or so, I’ve been trialling the Nokia C7. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I’m a total novice when it comes to phones – only recently having bought my very first smart phone. As if they’d call them dumb phones. Duh!

Now, I know there are some people out there (somewhere) that hate touch phones. Me? I love the things. (‘Cept for the fingerprints!) For me, they’re intuitive to use. Truth betold when I first started on the C7 I was worried that the interface would be clunky and not unlike using a PC. Wrong! Ba-bow!

What I liked most about the phone is that I didn’t have to read the manual. Bonus points right there. Yessiree. It was so easy to use. Honestly, they had me at hay-lo with the 8 mega-pixel camera. I still remember my first digital camera which only had a 2 mega-pixel resolution and cost me $800 bucks. Yeouch!

Clearly she’s on a diet of celery sticks too.

Oh, how far we’ve come people. Huzzah for technological advances. That and the fact that my Mum just learnt to send me a text message! Double whammy! (Sorry to throw you under the bus, Mum.)

The only thing I really missed from my iphone was having a QWERTY keyboard. And maybe it’s just me, but I’m a Mac user lover so I like using one platform for downloading apps and tunes. But then again, I’m guilty of being a bit too matchy-matchy, so what do i know, anyway? Don’t answer that Silly!

Lastly, like everything in life: size really does matter. (Really!) And this my friends is the Nicole Richie of the phone world. Clearly she’s on a diet of celery sticks too, because this baby is thin enough to slip into any clutch. And, good news: the peeps at Nokia have just released the N8 in hot pink with a 12 mega-pixel camera. Now. That. Is. Just. Obscene! Like I said, never say never. MC

// Nokia C7

// What a skinny minny!

// Nokia’s 8 mega-pixel camera.

// Like I said, easy peasy!

// Art imitating life imitating art. Weird.

// Love touch phones. There! I said it. Out loud and proud!

It’s all about the details Darling:
