The Wonder of Nature: Stoneleigh No. 50

- DEDICATED POST -
...

Well, my friends, I am delighted to be able to finally show you inside Stoneleigh No.50. Set in a beautiful, historic terrace in Millers Point, it brings to life Stoneleigh wines in a mind-blowing experience like Sydney has never seen before.

As you cross the threshold, the experience can be likened to stepping into an enchanted forest. Each room has been taken over by the ‘wonder of nature’ and encapsulates the Stoneleigh Vineyard, with each room inspired by the sunstone region of the Rapaura Valley in Marlborough.

Every step through the terrace teases and delights; from the flowers growing out of a piano, the flower-bombed four poster bed to the edible chocolate mushrooms growing inside a wardrobe waiting to be discovered. (Or, in my case, eaten!)

The terrace brings to life, exactly what makes Stoneleigh wines unique. You see, it’s the ‘sunstones’ that lay at the base of Stoneleigh’s vines that retain heat and warm the grapes through the cooler evenings which leads to fruit that is bursting with flavour. (Having tried out the range, I can definitely attest to that!)

ANOTHER FAVOURITE IS THE WILD VALLEY PINOT NOIR, IT’S EARTHY, ELEGANT AND THE PERFECT ADDITION TO ANY DINNER PARTY.

Next time, you pick up a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc, notice as the crisp passionfruit notes dance on your tongue. Another favourite is the Wild Valley Pinot Noir, it’s earthy, elegant and the perfect addition to any dinner party. Or say, just dinner.

That’s exactly what I love about Stoneleigh, from their classic range that we all know and love, to the Wild Valley series, they’ve you covered—from your late night Thai takeaway from down the road, to playing hostess with the mostess on a Saturday night.

Now, the great news is you can come along too! No. 50 will be offering tours every Wednesday and Thursday from November 3-19, offering you a chance to step into this enchanted world and experience it for yourself. Needless to say, this will be an adventure like no other! Click to book a tour now.

They are also hosting a series of curated VIP events in collaboration with Mitchell Orr of ACME fame and Fbi. For your chance to win tickets to the ACME event, click here,  and for your chance to win two tickets the FBi closing party on Friday 27th November, leave a comment (and your email so I can contact you if you win) below telling me which Stoneleigh wine is your favourite, and why. Best answer wins, as judged by me. Winner contacted on Nov 20th
