I’m not going to lie. Sometimes, I unleash a can of whoopass in the kitchen. Okay, really, I unleash my whoopie pies with marshmallow fluff.
Usually after a really bad day, or, a really good one. Hell, I don’t really need an excuse to bake, do I? In the kitchen, I grabbed a box of Betty Crocker’s Vanilla Whoopie Pie Mix ($5.58) straight from my pantry. About 30 minutes later—ding!—they were ready. Usually I’d use the icing provided in the pack—that was until one fateful day (okay it was Sunday) when I saw that Woolworths now stocks Marshmallow Fluff. Usually, I’d stock up from USA foods or similar.
Before I even had time to grab a spoon and eat it straight from the jar, my whoopie pies were officially ready to be ‘Fluffed!’ First, a word of warning friends: they are very addictive. And secondly, you need to eat them pretty much straight away, because Fluff just oozes everywhere; but therein lies the beauty. Enjoy! MC
