What is luxury? It’s such a hard concept to define. And of course, it depends on who you’re talking to. When you start to enjoy some of the best experiences that money can buy, one thing is clear: it’s the small touches that stand out.
Naturally, if you’re going to be dropping $1500 plus for a one-night stay anywhere your expectations are going to be sky high and it just happens that Wolgan Valley’s Timeless Spa, doesn’t disappoint. There are a lot of small details that can ruin a spa treatment: the soundtrack of birds chirping endlessly; the ‘melodic’ ding-dong of a new customer arriving through the door; or it might just be the too-small room with daggy brown carpet that ruins your post-spa mojo.
Not surprisingly, every part of the Timeless Spa is well considered. Each room has it’s own toilet, shower and change room. The treatment room itself, has floor-to-ceiling glass walls, so you feel completely at one with nature. (The only chirping of birds you’re likely to hear, is real ones.) And naturally they use the very best products money can buy—Sodashi.
At the end of the treatment you’re invited to enjoy the view with a cup of peppermint tea and freshly cut fruit. You’re not rushed out the door—or given a hard sell. You’re just left alone to bask in your post-treatment glow. Some things really are timeless.
